From one mum to another ...
Hi! I'm Lisa, a masters-level qualified occupational therapist and mama of two with a passion for supporting women during their motherhood journey. My interest in women's health started after my own (not always positive!) experiences of pregnancy and early motherhood, when I realised that my occupational therapy skills were a perfect fit to support new mums. The transition to motherhood impacts so many areas of our lives. It's my mission to use my knowledge of perinatal mental health, infant development and time management for busy mums, along with my qualification as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, to make sure new mums feel healthy and confident in their new role.

I founded Nurture Occupational Therapy in 2019, two months after the birth of my second daughter, to provide connection, evidence-based information and support for women during their transition to motherhood and beyond.
It's my aim that ALL new parents have access to the support and information they need to stay well, and care for themselves while they care for baby.

WHAT ARE MUMS SAYING ABOUT GROWING TOGETHER GROUP?
CJ, MUM OF 3 MONTH OLD
I learned a lot about caring for baby and myself, but the best thing was connecting with other mums ... we even set up a chat group so we can keep in touch after the class is over.
Thank you so much for the wonderful class. It was perfect, and I wish it was almost a requirement for new parents to have to take it.
I loved this class and was so happy to be a part of it so early on in my motherhood journey. It was exactly what I needed to feel empowered and supported during this time.

Parenting. It's amazing. It's incredible. But it's HARD.
As parents, we're often so focused on baby, we forget to take care of ourselves.
It's time to change that.
